RKtect is a home based architectural drafting company which specializes in residential house plans. For nearly 10 years the RKtect designer has been satisfying customers with quality working plans. Our plans have been featured in several Parade of Homes and have received many awards. Clients who purchase a set of our plans will benefit from a home that follows the rules of form and function.

RKtect is located in Wellsville, Utah, and offers full-service residential architectural design for new construction and remodels. Our homes have been designed for construction in the mountain west. Plans are available in PDF file format, and can be printed off on "D" size paper at any Kinko's or local printing store. All plans are copyrighted.

Our mission is to provide builders and individuals with pre-designed plans at a discounted rate. Upon completion of a custom set of working drawings most designers will never use those plans again; at RKtect we instead mark our pre-designed plans at a bargain price. Each month we will add our latest completed set of working drawings, so if you don't find what your looking for come back again later.

Each plan includes all exterior elevations, floor plans, foundation plans, electric and applicable sections. These plans have been designed to meet the IRC at the time that they were designed. Some building departments may require structural engineering for plans. Each purchased plan will need to be reviewed by a draftsperson or architect to insure the plan meets your local codes.

Due to regional variations, local availability of material, local codes, method of installation, and individual preferences, it is impossible to include much detail on heating, plumbing, and electrical work on the plans. The ductwork, venting, and other detail will vary depending on the type of heating and cooling system and the type of energy that is used. These details and specification are easily obtained from your builder, contractor, and/or local suppliers.

Rktect reserves the right to change plans, elevations and or specification without notice. Renderings are an artist's perception and may not depict the actual. Room sizes my vary slightly from the descriptions shown on the floor plans in view of construction tolerances.

Our fees to design a custom plan is $.65 sq ft and up (depending on the complexity of the home). We require 50% of the estimated design fee to begin work on the initial drawings front elevation, main and upper level layouts). After your approval, the balance of the fee is due
